According to officials from AXIOM TELECOM and Plug-Ins in Dubai Mall and City Center Mall, the 9900 is scheduled for release on the 15th of August! This brings the release date inline with that of the US

India is also due for a release on the same date. 15th August, we celebrate our independence day and I may get independence from my 9700 :-)
Yesterday I contacted a Dutch retailer for release information and they expect to release on 15th of August as well.
Looks like 15th August is worldwide Release date, a first for any Blackberry.

Besides India, all those countries will be in the same region as far as Rim are concerned, so it might be the date for the priority carriers outside north america and there is still time for the states and canada to get it a bit before that.

I just always thought if the release dare was so soon Rim would have announced the date already. I never saw Rim just make an announcement one week before.
I would say they would make announcement around beginning of August

On Facebook Axiom Telecom replied to a query from a member Imran Sayed, that 9900 will be released in Last week of August and not 15th August.
