got a update announcement today on my UK Vodafone 9900, I did the update and all seems well.
there was mention that it includes battery issue fixes !

the update is v7.0.0.585 (platform 5.0.0.734).

does anyone have any more info on this and what it may do?

Why are carriers releasing these OS's when there clearly is a bug with the Battery Meter in the build.

Would be nice to get a release that functions as it ought to.

Roll on a good 7.1 build, maybe it will be RIM's Christmas present to us for 2012 !!!

only thing that .585 and .590 do for me is that 99+ to 92% drop..
didn't actually noticed any other difference between those OS though.
    Yup, same here!

Why does anyone care about the 8% drop tho? Its a software bug. We shld b thankful it isn't a hardware problem!
