If the reports hold true, on 8/31/2011 your friend can go to T-Mobile and buy one.

They are in Sprint stores now. They will be in Verizon and T-Mo stores very soon (I believe Monday at the latest).

Alternately, he could make a side-hop to Vancouver and grab one from a Rogers store.

Does Sprint sell the 9900 one without a contact? And how much does it cost?

    Thank you both for answering.

it will be better for you to pick up a T Mobile Version than a CDMA world phone.

    Cheers.

Turkey uses GSM not CDMA so, as Hayito says above, you are better with a T-Mob version - though it may need unlocking to work on your Turkish carrier.

Why not get an unlocked one from the UK instead? See the UK Retailers thread for prices and availability.

I don't think unlocking will be that much of a problem but it's true that I need the GSM version.A friend of mine will be coming to Turkey on 1st of September that's why I chose the US.I'm not sure how can I get it from the UK?
