9900 on telus network?
Is telus' network just as fast as the others around (bell/rogers)?
I currently have a tour and a monthly bill of about 120, and through a family member right now they're allowed to offer family a similar plan to what I have now for $65 and the 9900 is about $6 to purchase.
I've actually never had reception issues or dropped called with Bell so I'm a little scared to move. Will the phone be just as fast on the internet/browsing as it would be if I got on on bells network?

Depends where you are, I am on the west coast of Canada and here Telus's network is unmatched by everyone. You get service in os many more areas that Roger's doesn't. And yes the H+ is really fast!

I'm on the west coast as well, north delta to be exact.
Her work is offering this for any of her family members:
200 daytime minutes
unlimited nationwide family calling
unlimited local calling after 6pm and weekends
unlimited incoming and outgoing text, picture and video messaging
unlimited nationwide talk with your fav 10 numbers
6gb data
call waiting
conference calling
voicemail
call display
-------------
$65 + $6 for the phone.
Needless to say, I'm thinking about switching....

Bell and Telus share the same HSPA+ network, so it won't matter which one you use as long as you have a "4G" phone (aka the 9900). How they comapre to Rogers will depend on the city you live in. While I was in Montreal, Rogers was better. Downtown Toronto Telus seems to have the edge.

and dont forget, bell/telus do not have a EDGE network, only a HSPA+ network... so if you go out of their network range you will lose signal completely... whereas with rogers, if you lose HSPA+ signal, most of the time you will still be able to connect to their EDGE network
