Depends on what country and carrier of course.. but it was early 2011 if I remember correctly.

Start of September 2011 in the UK I think.. got mine September 22nd 2011 with vodafone UK

i Believe it became available August 11th or 12th in 2011, i remember Kevin grabbing 4 right away and Rogers gave it to him but Bell, Fido, Telus and other companies were releasing on the friday of that week. BUT since rogers was getting soo much people buying from then The other carriers just let it be and it became available on the thursday
