Okay, so up to date I never had a problem with os updates, unfortunately not anymore.
I have my carriers .540 installed on my device.
And yesterday I decided to give .590 with .150 cods a try.
Dowloaded and installed .590 on my pc. But its not showing that as a update option.
Instead its showing .585 as a recommended option in DM (probably Voda's official OS-my device is a Vodafone unlocked handset)
So I deleted every other OS 7 on my computer and opened Apploader.exe and still I can't get it to show .590 update. It says no updates when it comes to screen where I choose my apps for the installation. What's the problem here? Why can't I load .590? Do I have to install the recommended .585 on my device and then install .590 on my computer and update my device OS?

    Thanks for your time

By any chance, have you deleted the 2 vendor.xml files? If so, try re-starting your computer.

I deleted the one in the Apploader folder. Where is the second one?

    Search your computer for 'vendor.xml.'
And make sure to check the search for hidden files box.

Solved: I had to install .585 first.... don't know why?
