Looking to come back to blackberry. Was looking at the q10 but its taking forever so I started looking back at the 9900. Had it once but sold it. I've had so many phones because of apps or screen sizes. I'm just looking to fall back from that. I figured with an iPad mini I don't need my phone to so much. I don't use my phone for business or work at all. Just miss the the keyboard and blackberry in general. I do think the blackberry 9900 is a great looking phone and the build is awesome. So right now I'm just not sure to go with the 9900 or not to... Sorry for the lil rant lol

The Q is coming out in less than a month, and I do believe it's worth the wait, although the 9900 is such an awesome device, so It really depends on if your willing to uses an older phone like the bold for a while.

The 9900 is a much less reliable phone than the z10. So you may want to consider the extra features as a big bonus on the q10. The amount of space for apps is very limited in the 9900. I found that i had to remove apps often, just to keep it from running out of operating space. I also had issues with the headphone jack while running with the phone, volume mysteriously goes up or down, reset on it's own, (could have been a bad sim contact) . I am much happier with the z10. Just miss the bb traffic app, that was on my 9900. Also use my playbook, much less often. Z10 is all i use for personal email and the browser is fast and very full of features, such as password remember.

I have to disagree with above.
9900 is much more reliable compared to Z10, at least for me. I had Z10 for over a week, returned and bought a 9900. I love it and I dont regret at all. OS10 is still too new for prime time, give it some time and get a 9900 in the meantime.
    That's what I did...

I have a 9900 and probably wont switch until the Z10 and Q10 have been out in the market for at least 6months. I think the Z10 is awesome, but I like the reliability of my 9900.

Which carrier? Call them, they may let you get one without a contract..
    That's what I did with AT&T.

The 9900 is a solid reliable device. I have been using a Z10 since launch and I also have and use my trusted 9900 on a regular basis. Every device has its issues, this includes the 9900 and the Z10. I've been using BlackBerry for so long and I can honestly say from my own personal experience the 9900 is one of the best devices ever made.

I don't blame you I had the 9900 and it was a solid device. I still kind of miss the keyboard but sadly the z10 light years ahead of the 9900.

I just wish they could take 9900 and put OS10 in it but not touch the email application.
OK, just take BB10, and even with the hub and everything, simply put the OS7 email app in that phone as a downloadable app.
Then put OS7 contacts as downloadable app.
And keep all keyboard shortcuts intact.
I will pay $1000 for Z10 or Q10, or they can call it X10.

I prefer my bold over my z10 .I really think that it is an amazing device and if one is not too hot on apps it is really perfect.

You can't go wrong with the 9900. With that said the Q10 is coming out really soon so I'd say wait and play around with the Q10 before you make a decision.

I have my 2nd 9900 and both suffered from quick battery drain syndrome. I prefer battery life on a 9780. I will get a Q10 in a few weeks and looking forward to the experience.

I want to trade my Ipad with Ipad mini. Honestly, I rarely use my ipad. I love my PB, though!

Well, do you want to use OS7 or the new OS10?? That is what you should be asking yourself.
