Just got the Bold 9900 on t-mobile, and i love the phone. Now, I cannot find out how to turn on the NFC feature so i can try it out. Please don't tell me tmo deactivated that feature. Someone help.

You can't until TMO decide to enable it

Unfortunately the answer is what you don't want to hear

You have paid (or are going to pay over your contract period) for the NFC hardware in your BB. It is sad that a carrier disables what is yours.

    For your info:
Verizon also originally sold NFC enabled BBs with NFC disabled. They gave up under customer pressure and enabled NFC in a BB OS update from Verizon pages.
Hopefully TMO does the same thing.

If you google "TMobile ISIS" you can find out that TMobile, Verizon and AT&T are part of ISIS and they plan to run NFC trials early next year.

At that point AT&T and TMO will hopefully enable NFC for everyone.
The best thing would be if they enabled it ASAP.
