Hi there - would a kind person post the settings they use to connect the 9900 to an iPad (3) using Mobile Hotspot?
I can connect to my MacBook with no problems but no I've had no luck connecting to the iPad.
    Any info appreciated.

    Cheers

I'm having the same problem. My MacBook Pro can connect, as well as my IBM products. However, my iPad just says cannot connect. It finds the hotspot just fine. I've tried different passwords, differnt WEP settings and even no login, but still no luck.

Exactly the same problem as me. My BB9900 connects with my MacBook no problem. The iPad sees the Hotspot but simply won't connect! I've tried all sorts of combinations on the 9900, WEP, WEP/Personal, I've tried numeric passwords, letter passwords, a mix of the two, 8011g and the other one (!) and even no security - but still no luck.

I have a tethering package (connects with MacBook) so no problem at that end. I have read about other people who seem to connect okay.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Same problem, except my iPod Touch (4th Generation) won't connect

Every other device connects to my mobile hotspot except my ipod. Its really weird.

I can say I've been having the same issue, I tried resetting the network settings in the ipad. And after the device rebooted I had connection. For a little bit at least.

Then after a little while, I tried to connect again and got the same error message everyone else has.

Maybe its old Steve playing tricks. Since the ipad and ios stuff is his baby. If anyone can come to a better conclusion to this situation, please let the rest of us know.

    Hi

    The iPad is very tricky,
Here are things I have tried.

Turn Bluetooth off kn both devices
    Put them besides each other
Turn the bold hot spot on
    Then wait a few seconds
Now turn the iPad WiFi on
It should find the 9900, keep tapping it and it will eventually connect.
