I still dislike that the 9900 doesn't have labels on the apps, whereas the 9810 does. I really prefer the apps being labeled so I do not need to memorize all the symbols for the more obscure things I download from app world.

Screen realestate is really crucial on the 9900's small 2.8" inch screen.

When you scroll over it with the trackpad, the name appears on the bottom of the screen.
I called Vodafone Qatar and asked about the 9900, and one woman told me that it is infact released and she will find out the pricing for me but she put me on hold for 10 minutes then hung up . The other people were just as useless, they told me to go down to the nearest Vodafone store and check myself...I guess I will sometime this week.
Any news from Dubai? My brother was recently there and told me there was a new BlackBerry going for 2000+ AED, sounds promising .
Update:
Vodafone Store guys don't have an idea of the release date or the price, they say its in the "wraps" but they are expecting to sell in last week of August just in time for Eid !
Met a Vodafone sales guy at the Mall today. He says its gonna be here just before Eid, which is pretty much end of this month. The only problem of buying a blackberry here(Doha) is the Arabic keyboard. I find the keys too cluttered with the double fonts on it. That's why i've bought almost all my BBs online (8900/9700/9800).

Agree with you, i am waiting to see the price from Vodafone, if they price it same as the price I have to pay online + shipping to doha, i will prefer buying from Clove UK...just to have an English only Keyboard.
