    Good question. My answer is.. the battery is good, unless you are in bad reception area, then it gets hot and drains. Overall it should last 1 day, but it is an excelent phone. As many have said before, this is the bold that most 9000 user's have been waiting for.

    Excuse me, but in my opinion the 9780 is a tank, SOLID, you can't break it, droped it a couple of times, just scratches, try to drop the 9900...
    I dropped mine 2 times without rubber casing(naked) because it's sleeker that way... Maybe I should use the case.. Luckily it is in very good condition (no physical damage). my Note already has damages at the side after dropping it 1x.

    I have no problems with the 9900 battery life, coming from 9700 and 9800. If it really worries you, get an additional battery

    There never was a battery issue. Initially there were software issues and the included charger is junk. 7.1.0.284 + Nokia AC-6U = perfect.

    7.1.0.284 = Free
    Nokia AC-6U = $3 Delivered

    The whole battery thing is so "Fox News" its pathetic.

    Case-Mate POP! $17 and change delivered from Amazon. The Commuter is nice but if your gonna use "Official Firmware" you will hate trying to take the 9900 out of the Commuter, and putting it back in. Add a pair of Steinheils screen protectors to the POP! and your just a bit over the price of the Commuter. The button extentions on the POP! are the best I've expereinced on any case.
