This week I tried updating my wife's 9900 when the BBM upgrade came out. I ended up losing a bunch of her bbm contacts in the process. Long story short, I ended up having to restore her phone using the back up but for some reason the phone no longer responds to emails and won't carry through on sending new emails. I don't even see the send icon in the email when replying. I have tried deleting the email accounts and reinstalling but that didn't change anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions?I'm at a loss on this one..

try this go to options>device>advanced system settings>hosting routing table press bb menu button and select register now.. also try resending service books

Thanks. Tried registering but it didn't work. How do I resend service books?

go to setup then email accounts hit the bb menu button scroll down to service books and resend them

That doesn't seem to solve the problem but thanks for trying. I think I better take it to my service provider to see you what they can suggest.

Hello I have the same issue. Had to restore from a back up. Since then I have not been able to send. I have two e-mail accounts and I cannot send from my Yahoo Account, I can recieve from both. So Far I have:
1. Pulled the battery
2. Resent Service Books
3. Manually deleted and resent Service Books
4. Deleted the yahoo e-mail account and re established it.
5. Reset the routing table.
6. Ensured that it is my default message service.
6. Visited my service provider who says it is a yahoo issue.

I cannot even find a send option on the menu within the Yahoo account. Please help. It just cannot be that I can no longer respond to e-mail on my BB.
