It all depends how much you used your device and how you used it.

Nothing personal but I find it very hard not to laugh at this thread.

Also can I suggest using the search or even use google and search
for "bold 9900 battery" you will be flooded with replies.

The battery management on the 9900 is not great on OS 7.0. However I am running
the OS 7.1 version 7.1.0.205 and getting almost the full day out of my phone with heavy usage.

Lots of people and network think that changing display brightness, timeouts and things like that make a difference but it is all down to how much you use it, what your networks coverage is like, and even whether you use UMA or not, which 7.0 doesnt support but 7.1 does.

Have a go and let us know how you get on.

+1... Could be average depending on usage.

Watch your apps and you can turn off unused features.

I had a user basically have their battery drain in hours. I looked and low and behold, the ATT mobile GPS tool was in the background destroying their battery life. I found the same to be true when I ran Verizon's GPS tool on my old Storm 2. Ate the battery like pies at a pie eating contest.

With my 9930 I turned off the GPS (for E911 only) and I saw a dramatic increase in battery life.

But like others have said, usage and mileage will vary from person to person.

I suggest getting an extended battery, or an extra stock battery from the crackberry store. Then get an external battery charger from ebay (look for Universal blackberry battery charger), it'll be cheap and it'll work. Or you could search for bold 9000 or 9700 external charger. All you'll need to do is carefully bend the prongs to the left slightly and you'll be good to go.

I tell you, it does such a great job. I still got mine.

Extra battery is essential. I have 2, although I have to admit, with .205 on my phone I haven't
Had to use it for a while.

Just out of interest, why are you bending pins etc?? Lol

Pins are bent so they make proper contact with the battery terminals. The charger cost me $2.63 with free shipping. If it breaks, it's another $2.63. Easy to replace.

Hey, I can only really speak on what has happened with my phone & I, but I can tell you that after using a higher Voltage Charger, I've gotten WAY better life. After using the PB charger that came with my PB, my battery is getting so much longer charges.

Your Mileage may vary...but if you can get a higher voltage charger try it. It may be better than the stock plug that came with your 9930.

    Just another suggestion.

Before you go frying your phone, it is not a higher 'voltage' charger. The
Charger you are looking for is the Playbook travel charger.

It has a yellow plug on the phone end rather than black. The output
Current of you standard charger is 700-750mA but the Travel charger
Is a 2A current which shouldn't mean you phone last longer but it will
Charge the phone a whole lot faster.

I can go from empty to full in just under 40 mins.

Be carefull what you buy. But it is a good recommendation.

ǾkỲ, again please folks, do not try to put a higher VOLTAGE charger in your phone. This will
    Fry your handset!!

You are looking for Travel charger. Which is still a 5volt output but has a higher current.

Stay safe people. Don't damage your phones.

I know we wouldn't want to see a li-ion battery turn into a rocking flame thrower in someone's bedroom. No way!!
