    yesterday battery lasted all day and still had 40% at end

    today totally different;

    phone lost 60% by 1pm today and by 5pm was 9% surprising thing again phone not used and on desk, lost over 12% per hour at times or worse!

    love the phone but hate its battery performance!

    going back to JM-1 tomorrow ecell a waste of time for me

    I have had the ecell gold battery for about a month. Started out strong....now it is really falling off. I am going back to the JM1 as well. The gold battery went from being better to not even getting through the day now.

    Is this with heavy usage?

    @andysan1971
    Sorry to hear that.. Maybe just use the original one with 391 or 428. Hope that will give you a better battery life

    Seidio 3000mah battery is out and that would be a good peace of mind option for extended use.

    Don't know if that has to be cloned also.

    this battery kind of makes the phone inpracticle for me from pics as it looks like a brick with it bolted on with new cover.

    agree though this could be the answer if you can get over the cosmetic view

    cheers anyway for response

    The battery cloning issue comes from another battery manufacturer; not Seidio......

    I am using .437 and it is ok for me with the Gold. But it has some old apps so maybe you want to choose for 391 or 428. And the positive/negative reports about different OS's are because people live in different countries with different providers and different phones. Just try 391 and see for yourself

    Means that the Seidio batteries doesn't have to be cloned?

    That would be really good. And it also makes the seidio 3000mah extended battery the best travel companion atleast.

    well same settings

    phone with minimal use today only lasted till 4pm and was less than 5%

    i am now thinking regardless of os or battery the 9900 is a gluten for power drain unfortunately

    what about you Kameloen?

    Bought this recently, and have found battery to be longer lasting than the default battery. Battery doesn't need to be recloned on every pull. However, I have encountered a problem. The battery was once completely drained, and I know find my phone unable to recognise it upon charging, and neither does the decoder seem to work (lights up) anymore. Has anyone experienced this?

    If you have an external battery charger, use it, or don't have one, I suggest you grab one off ebay and charge it up. They cost between $3 and $8 with most having free shipping.

    Hello,

    That's is correct. Our battery is 100% OEM compatible and does not need a cloning kit. It works right out of the box and will never need another OEM battery to work!

    well me again....

    two days on the bounce, using default jm-1 battery, i have charge of 45% left by 11pm.

    Incredible change from Monday when by 4pm phone was down to 5%

    wonder if os just needed to settle in with battery.

    @Andysan, strange reports.. I don't understand how one day your battery is draining like an and the other day (same usage/environment) it is working fine. Maybe something wrong with your phone itself. I am still using .437 with the Gold and it is ok for me. Not really a big difference with the original one.

    I just got my Gold battery, like an hour ago. I bought it June 1st. After 3 weeks of sitting in postal service... Has 75%. I decoded it and popped it in. Giggity. It works no problem on 7.1.0.428. Well I'm on this roller coaster with you all now let's see what battery life I can get on this thing.

    I received the Momax 1400 battery today, and my 9900 will not accept it, running OS .428. I'm upgrading to... .532 is it? I'll see if the Momax works and post here and in the OS thread.

    Edit: Upgrade to .523 done. The Momax doesn't work.
