Lets talk about this new amazing bold 9900 everything is top draw but then the battery omg! It's worse than the 8520 battery

All I keep reading it everyone saying how shocking the battery is and I've seen this 3 months having the bold now using 7.1 the battery only gives me 6-8 hours max

When's this problems going to be fixed?

The indicator for me is quite simple. If the phone gets warm, then your battery is draining. By experience 3 things drains the battery. 1. Calling, 2. Bad signal, 3. Bad apps.
When you've found the reason, and fix it till it isn't warm then You can get a day without a problem. 7 in the morning till 12 at night. Good luck!

I've only got one app running which is UberSocial for twitter

If you look in threads about battery, battery drains around 1.6pc/hr using the last 3 OSes
If you are very certain then for trial sake uninstall your apps, and change signal to GPRS. Good luck!

i have found bad signal to be the culprit of my battery woes.
so in very closed areas i tend to put mine on 2g.

but when the 3g signal is really good and you're browsing the radios go crazy and everything downloads really fast, and i found this to also drain the batt. oh well.

I did also read somewhere in this forum, that if battery drains for no reason at all it could be hardware issues. Someone got his replaced and there are no more problem with the new one.

Just upgrade to the .540 if not solved buy a new battery and you should be fine

I had the same issue. .540 solved everything for me. Battery life is amazing now. The phone used to die at 3-6pm. Now I can use it until I go to bed (11pm/12am)
