    I watched 2 YouTube videos over the weekend, one from Kevin and one from a RIM employee. In both videos I saw what looked like a 9900/9930 with a front facing camera.

    Am I correct? If so where are they? I don't see anything on RIM's site.

    proximity sensor IIRC, or sensor for ambient light maybe. only visible due to it being a white BB.

    Looks like the opening for the proximity sensor that turns off the display when the phone is on and the BlackBerry is held to the ear. It is more or less visible depending on the light.

    Yup, it the proximity sensor that's next to the LED. No front facing camera.

    To each their own...I LOVE my white 9900! It's my third white berry now. Well, forth if you count the botched job I did of trying to convert my black 9630 to a white one.

    yea its the sensor. not sure what its calledbut it turns on the backlight while on a call and u pull phone from your face
