Before I wear out my 'check for software update' option, does anyone have an idea when the official 7.1 is expected on Voda UK? Thanks, in advance...

At the same time Vodafone NL gets the update. Anyway, I installed the leak already and I'm pretty sure the official will be a lower build.

I asked the same question on the Vodafone Forum last week and one the tech people stated that they were unable to give an ETA at this point as one thing or another might affect the release date blah, blah, blah. However, I do agree with the other responses of installing the leaked version - for me it's just as stable as the current vodafone OS.

Installed the 7.1 Leak on my Vodafone UK 9900 but I can't get the Mobile Hotspot to work (only reason I upgraded) says it needs "activation"

Thanks. I can see no real reason why they wouldn't be able to release it at the same time as everyone else? (Now, more or less...)

    Hi Everyone,

I've added a statement here which answers your question: http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Black...0/td-p/1079383

    Thanks,

    Tom

Probably be .342 which is way inferior to .402. Not had an "official" Voda OS on my 9900 since 7.0.0.540 and they withdrew that one after a matter of days !! Hot Spot has always worked fine and had no signal issues using non Voda OS's

    Long Live Leaks !!!!

Stick with the leaks. They come thick and fast and get better each time.

Sent from somewhere other than my PC.

Used all the leaks on my Voda 9900. Works like a charm! Everything, even if they release it officially I won't download it unless it's a newer, better version...

Not sure how Vodafone UK are rolling this out but I connected to Desktop Manager last night and was offered and installed 7.1.0.342.

Only problem was Telmap 5 stopped working, installed Telmap from Appworld didn't know it was there until this happened. Keeping an eye on it now to see if battery life improves.

Thanks for the link .. My .402 is causing the phone to shut off by itself so I might use an older version :/...

    7.1.0.1149 isn't the application number. It's the bundle No... It's 7.1.0.342. My .402 is bundle 1333

I have heard that also. Don't think I've ever run a Vodafone OS on any of my devices though.... Never really up to date...
