I haven't seen this discussed too much so just wanted to see if it was just me...

After 7.1 on vzw update (tried both ota, then clean wipe with apploader/bbh shrinkage):

    1. missing minutes in the time, on calendar app and whatsapp.

    2. "stuck" data upload/download activity bars, and even seen briefly in upper left hand corner (?!)

Am I crazy? went back to .374 and much happier. I don't usually have issues when upgrading..

As reported by dustanh, revert back to the default font.

Whether or not it sucks, is a different topic. If you want to correct the time issue in the calendar app, revert to the default font.

No OS is perfect, or bug free. You have to pick your poison. I choose increased battery life and using the default font in 7.1 over cutesy fonts and poor battery life in 7.0.0.374.

If you mean the "arrows" in the upper right corner of the home screen indicating data use when nothing is really running, I can tell you I've seen it before on my 9650 with various OS's. It happened once in a great while.

I have not had it happen on my 9930.

I've noticed the activity bars at the top being stuck on a couple times now, but otherwise I haven't had many problems. Seems like my battery life is decreased some when compared with .374, of course that could just be me thinking about it too much, still gets me through a day of heavy use without much trouble.

Change your font to a number higher than 7. Anything set at 7 or below will give you this glitch regardless of font smoothing. It doesn't have to be default font, just the font size greater than 7.

    Try it out.

It took me about 4 unnecessary downgrades/upgrades, wipes and reloads to figure this out.

What issue are you guys talking about? I use Arial size 6 and I've got no issues seeing the minutes/time in the Calendar. Screen shot?

With regards to the time / minutes missing in your calendar view:

Tried a couple of font changes (bold, extra bold) w Arial, bbalpha sans.

I was not able to reproduce this.

Are you using the default theme? if not, can you enable the default theme?

Have you tried resetting your theme back to 'factory' settings?

Man, how strange is that? I'm running Arial 6 and my time shows like normal. I wonder why it's different for some?

Did you change the font size?

Yes I have switched to default theme, wiped, reloaded, and nothing.
    Everything was fine on .374.

Yeah, i set it to 5, 6 and one more size (forgot which)

5 arial is really small ;-)

Is it maybe that the size needs to be greater than 6 for it to show up?

No, I just changed mine to font size 5 and nothing changed. The time was even in the same size as before. I have noticed that some of the banners in certain menus are not lined up properly at the top, maybe it's related?

Wow to the 3 above posts... thats crazy. The big old WTF? It just must be my device. If my font is changed to 8 or higher, the time is showing correctly.

I don't have the time problem with my calendar but seem to be having an issue with scrolling. When I thumb my touch screen from right to left it works no problem but left to right doesa not always work and the screen blinks.
