AT&T just released an official OS 7.1.0.694 for the Torch 9860! Hopefully the 9900 is on its way.

I, like many other AT&T users, experienced mic issues with 7.1 OSs > .437.

    Fingers crossed!

title contains a typo: .694 is correct

Don't get too excited, no guarantee that the Mic Issue will have been fixed !!!!!!

I'm not since I've moved on to another OS. I know how some have been waiting for this Official OS from AT&T to drop.
As far as the mic issue, that was not only on the 9900, it was also on the other BB.

Yep, its there for me too. Don't have time to update now, might do it later tonight. I'm excited. I hope this iteration doesn't suck!

On .523 (no Hot Spot), will wait on your reports. No mic issues here, found to be a regional thing, right?

I don't recall when the last time was for AT&T to release an update ahead of other carriers. Probably it's never happened before.

Update went fine for me. Mic issue seems to be corrected. I was one of those that had issues with the later 7.1 OS's. NFC is there.

Well AT&T isn't the only carrier to release any they released i believe 2nd OS 7.1 so far uh

How ever do, 9900 did got an update yesterday, And i don't really care if they release it or not i'd get it from some other carriers, and since i don't use AT&T i shouldn't have mic issues.

BB Bridge available from ATT w/o tethering plan, or still no?

    Hot Spot?

Bridge app works just as it did before. The version from app world requires tethering plan. The version posted on this site does not.
Hotspot is there but requires tethering plan.

7.1 OS download went just fine from DM...updated Bridge app from rroyy and all is looking good. It took far too long for this to be released by AT&T but it's here so no big deal. Now the AT&T bashers will have to find a new topic to complain about. I'm sure they will find something...hahaha

So I just updated through DM (this is the first time I've updated since maybe the second official 7.0 OS), and everything went fine...almost.

It lost all my memos. Which is frustrating. And kind of terrifying. How would I go about getting them back? DM made a backup before it upgraded, and I've also had BB Protect doing weekly updates for a while now. Is there a way to get my memos back without completely reverting??

    EDIT

Got it. I didn't realize through BB Protect I could selectively restore certain data. Just had to select Restore Memos and all is well. Leaving this post here in case anybody has the same issue, because I know how frustrating it can be to google an issue, find a relevant forum post, and just see the guy say "NEVERMIND FIXED IT" and nothing else.

AT&T was late with the 9900 release as well. I will bash all I want pal.

Next phone I buy will be with another carrier!

    AT&T is an abortion.
