Folks be careful with getting your hopes up based on details from affiliates. Unless I missed it somewhere no carrier anywhere has officially said they are releasing it on date X.
Not saying these are wrong or right just saying that we should keep our emotions in check until there is solid word from the carriers on a release date...
jus spoke to a phones4u live chat person and she seemed sure about release. dont like the fact that once pre order is made its written in stone and its shipped regardless. would have liked to have seen a choice of network ect... speaking to vodaphone now
I've just talked to both Phones4U and Vodafone livechat advisors. Message from the P4U one: 15/08 confirmed, new Vodafone contracts only, pre-order and get it delivered on the 15th or go to the P4U shop. Message from the Voda one: no dates, no device availability confirmation, nothing official or unofficial for that matter.
yeah thats what i got, but the vodaphone adviser told me the P4U have nothing to do with them as regards to product release, just the sale of there contracts.
a blackberry package is the same for every blackberry device, so explains why they can have a different release than vodaphone themselves
just sold my 9780 for �170 and picked up an 8520 for �10 that should get me by nicely
