    Is there something weird about the 1066 update? I tried to install it on my last 9930 (after wiping), and it bricked it. I assumed it was a hardware issue, though.

    I have a new 9930 now and I figured I should at least try upgrading. I wiped it and installed, but it just gets stuck on "net.rim.device.api.o18n MissingResourceException" and won't finish booting. I tried wiping it again and installing again, and the same thing happened.

    I've never had issues installing OS updates before. Am I missing something?

    Well, I'm not sure what worked. I tried it three more times (five times total), did three battery pulls, and finally tried swapping the battery with a different one. Anyway, it finally took? I still think the first 9930 is dead, though.
