Under one of the top free apps in app world, there is an app that can alter the skin of the sms app on a Bb to make it look like an iphone/android with colourful bubbles. Unfortunately it really lags the phone and it's hard to type.


I was wondering whether any such skins for the SMS app exists. I've heard of crunchsms and am not really interested in a separate app. Was hoping to stick with native sms app with cosmetic changes.

Any developers keen on weighing in if its possible or if such themes exist? Personally, I think it'll be a hit and worth paying for.

Don't u find it disconcerting to have 2 separate text apps tho?
If u transferred phones, would ur texts get backed up and brought over?

I have always liked the convenience of Xsms. Doesn't change the look but will bring up the text to box with the touch of the key of your choice. Tiny app too.
