Not a lot of people know, but I lost my mother last February to breast cancer.
Nearly 1 in every 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer over the course of their lifetime, but, when detected early, the disease has a high recovery rate. That is why promoting awareness to women through early detection is essential in the fight against breast cancer. While researchers work tirelessly to find new ways to fight this disease, a cure has not been found. Early detection is the best protection that women have against breast cancer.
It is my hope that one day a cure is found for all cancers.
Any chance this is, or will be, available for the 9810 and/or 9360? Not sure if I would be able to add it to my sisters 9900 work phone, but would love to add it my sisters 9810, my girlfriends 9360 and my moms 9360 as well. Show support for the 4 most important females in my life.
love to rock this on my 9810. Sorry to hear of about your Mom, My Aunt survived breast cancer for five years than died of lung cancer so I understand. Now my cousin is fighting breast cancer- we are praying she wins the fight.
Thank you Doug for this wonderful theme. Glad to make a contribution. I have friends and family members who has benefited substantially from the Komen foundation. The theme is a reminder for us all. I strongly encourage and recommend that the gentlemen of this forum consider a donation as well. It is so very important that we spread the word. I love themes and beautiful walls but my goal is to use this theme as a constant reminder of this great cause. Gotta find great Berryweather icons to make it shine and give it the glow that it deserves. Thanks again. V!
Sorry for your loss dc ....but what a brilliant way to put a little bit of yourself into a theme in memory of your mom. I would proudly rock this theme
I am attaching a batteryex zip that contains 3 breast cancer ribbons including the Komen ribbon that I got off the batteryex thread a few years ago. I'm sorry i don't remember who made them but based on the file type most likely songbird.
I am also adding 2 wallpapers that I made for anyone to use with dc's theme in both the torch and bold size.
