No weather slot variant in the current versions.
If you're seeing a weather slot in other users' screenshots, it's done with the wallpaper function of BerryWeather (aka BeWeather in App World).
Here's a screenshot of mine still with Mini_Banner v1:
That weather icon is using BW with the Textual iconset.
There are a couple other apps out there too that can place a weather widget on the Home Screen, but BW offers the most customizations.
What are those surprises? I don't like surprises and I only had this theme on my phone for few min and I am looking all over the place for surprises. lol

Anyone here on OS 7.1 and preferably the latest OS 7.1 with this theme installed? Usually with almost no use except BerryWeather updating every 30 min, I get 1.5%/hr. I installed this OS last night around 10 PM. Charged overnight to 100% took it off at 6:30 AM. The discharge rate is now at 10%/hr
Is this because of this theme? I didn't install anything other than this theme yesterday and I was at home all day (school reading break) so I don't think it is reception issue either. I had no email, BBM, web browsing, etc, etc.
Update: After few hours the battery again went back to normal 1.5-2%/hr. Ignore my above message. I guess the Bold 9900 takes a bit of time to get adjusted to a new theme.

I have not noted the update note of yours. So, as I was getting 3.5% in the past, yet happy with it, but I have installed some apps and the this new theme together , few days ago, and started to have 7% discharge rate, so I removed all the new apps, but still have the same 6-7%. So I decided to go back to the RIM default theme for a couples of days and see what happens.
Theme has been updated to 2.0.18.
Shows red glowing banner on new email and missed calls (might be an issue with T-mobile users) Fixed the custom font issue on the menu.
ENJOY!
burke, your work is amazing my friend. pat on the back bra....would you be able to incorporate some form of notification for text messages/bbm? something like you did for the emails (which is awesome btw)....love your theme...been using it since you released it.
