At first glance I thought this would be too difficult for the BB to cope with but after some experimenting I've got something that's passable for a first attempt. It's based upon the standard OS6 theme - so doesn't meet your request for there to be no ribbon bar. However, I have used green for the bars and highlights to at least match the theme.
If you like it so far I could look at switching it to a more 'OS5 mode' to get rid of the bars maybe. Thoughts?
Caveats: It's a reasonably hefty theme (1.3MB) and lord only knows what it does to your battery life!
If you like this theme, please post comments as any feedback for free themes is really appreciated. Feel free to donate if you like and use this or any other of my themes.
Wow, that was fast man! Testing, will report back within 24 hours....if I like it. I'd really really appreciate it if you can get rid of that ribbon dude.
Just realised that I'd used the wrong image on the lock screen - so I've just updated the files to v0.11 with the fix in case you want to update. Download location stays the same.
Can u make the resolution of the Matrix code a bit higher as it doesn't look so crisp
That's maybe tricky. I cheated quite a lot to be able to generate this quickly by using an existing animation on the web. If I can find another Matrix animation that I can 'borrow' that's crisper then great. I'll have a hunt. The animation I'm using has a bit of a skip in it as well - will maybe try and fix that or at least improve it...

LOL - will look at this shortly. I'm assuming that you've got the icon bar set to zero for max effect?
Still awaiting for an updated version from you bro, hopefully with a crisper image of the code, and without that bar.
I dunno if this helps but, I have a screen saver for the Matrix for PCs that is really crisp. But can you actually extract the code out of those images?
I am not sure
If you can, then let me know and I will post a download link for ya
I've scoured the web for a better 480x360 animated gif of the matrix screen but haven't been able to find one - so I'm afraid we're probably stuck with this one. A PC screensaver won't help I'm afraid.
Will create you a modified "no banner" version of the theme over the weekend - possibly tonight if time allows.

Cheers bro! You are a profressional! I was impressed last night by the time it took you to create this theme.
Had a quick play with it this morning. I've added a v2 to my original reply above that's more OS5-like with just a top banner. This isn't the final version - but it's a step in the direction you asked for...

v2.1 (well, v0.21!) uploaded to the v2 location. No big change except that I optimised the files which reduces the file size down to 1.4MB from it's previous 1.9MB and takes some of the stress off the BB when running it.
More anon...

A suggestion ML - do you want to adjust the title of this thread so that others realise they can download the theme (for free)? Since you started the thread, you own the title...
