Here's the theme I've had since I got my 9700. It's the 8 bottom today theme, I cant seem to find it anywhere here but anyways, here's what it looks like:



I really really like this theme but wouldn't mind a few minor changes...So if anyone can do it I would hugely appreciate it...If not, well, tuff luck for me!!!

- Don't know if that's possible, but every time I put a pic as wallpaper I have to edit it on my PC and add a black stripe at the top of the pic so I don't cut my son's head out of the screen!!! Is there a way around that???
Edit: Bah, I kinda got used to it and trying to work around it

- Adding that famous black stripe at the bottom of the screen behind the 8 icons (when I select a light background I have a hard time seeing the icons)

- I know I might get a lot of comments on this one, call me weird but I'd like to remove the function that shows a preview of my upcoming calendar items when scrolling over the calendar icon on the home screen.

Edit: - One more thing I wouldn't mind changing/fixing on this theme is the battery charging indicator, when the phone is plugged in and charging, it doesn't change the battery indicator status so I can't tell if the battery is charging or not until I see the battery percentage go up...

That's all the changes I can think of right now...

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone here for sharing their Blackberry knowledge. Crackberry's been my #1 tool since I got my 9700 and it's always the 1st and only resource I need !!! Thank you everyone!!!

I HOPE you two remember where you found this because I'd love to know, I'm currently using an 8 icon theme like this on my current Berry & love it, would like to have one when I upgrade to the 9700, I'll keep checking back in hopes that someone knows where it came from.

Did you contact the original theme builder to see if they are willing to customize a version for you, maybe in return for a donation? Looks like that themer has a blog/website.

It's not possible to make the changes you want without completely rebuilding the theme, and some of them I'm not sure are possible. Easiest path may be to convince the original themer to offer a version the way you want or simply pay them for some custom work.
