Folks,

I notice some of 9700 users use 8900 themes. Wonder whether these are 4.6 themes from the 8900? Would they work on 9700 running 5.0?

I have some 4.6 8900 themes -- would device switch port these automatically to 9700 running 5.0?

8900, 9630, 9700 all have the same screen resolution

if you have any of those 3 devices on 5.0 you can use any theme between them, no matter what OS it is from, or device

Thanks for your comment. I am running 4.6 on my javelin. This means these themes won't work on my new 9700 running 5.0, so no point using device switch wizard to port them?

If I want to transfer contacts, settings etc from my jave to bold, better use back restore function?

Sorry, newby here. Just want to make sure before I mess up the new 9700 screen.
