problem with hidden today themes

i dont know why, but when i download a theme with a hidden today, it will not show. is there something im doing wrong? i already change the settings in the message to separate the sms and emails and i did a battery pull. any insight would help. thanks!

Only UNREAD E-mail messages will show up. (with themes Made with the newest Theme builder, older themes did show SMS)

For Calendar entries, It will only show the Default calendar entries. You set that in
OPtions, Advanced Options, Default Services.
