Not sure if thats a dumb question but hopefully someone can give me some quick info?
thanks

I believe that themes are device specific. That being said there are many themes that have a 8900 and 9700 version
As long as the 8900 has 5.0, the theme should work. Both devices have the same dimensions.
It's not hard... as the poster above me mentioned, if the theme was made for the 9700 it will be for OS 5.0, so if the 8900 also has 5.0 it should work as is.
However, you can open Theme Builder and import the 9700 theme file, make sure everything looks ok (nothing moved during the conversion) and then export it for the 8900. This is assuming you have the .thm file and not just a .jad or .alx or whatever.
Yes ive been using a few, and they do work, but the call screens are always the stock default blue screen. Thats why i was asking. Its ok with the Section8 theme because its blue anyway, but the Modern Warfare is Army green colors, and then the call screen is blue...so it kinda ruins it for me. Thanks guys
Yup, as long as a device is running OS 5.0, it can run a theme with the same dimensions. So any themes for 9700, 96XX, and 8900 will run on any of the others.
Likewise will go for 83XX, 85XX, and 88XX once they're all on OS 5.0 too.
I'm hoping they amalgamate the Themes Forums by screen res once 5.0 is more widely officially released on the 9630 and 8900. (i.e. the "480x360 Themes Forum")
but then what about the call screen glitch? eventually there had to be a reason why it happens. If they use the same OS and have the same screen dimensions, then there has to be a reason...
Hmmmm, I haven't experienced that myself when running 9630 themes on my 9700. Just out of curiosity, can you try a 9630 theme built with Theme Builder 5, like a newer Foppa theme maybe, and see if you still experience this call screen issue?
