Hi, I just bought the 9700 and was able to transfer everything over except for the theme I purchased called "Cities of the World". I tried using the current DM, and it's on the AppLoader list, but cannot find it on my BB.
Can't you re-download it? If you've bought it from Mobihand, you can easily download it again on your new phone.
Otherwise, BBSAK is your answer. Connect using BBSAK, and copy the .cod file of the theme. Copy it back on your new 9700, if it is compatible.
it could be that the theme you are trying to bring over to the 9700 is to older and not supported... what device are you trying to get the theme off of?
Themes are picky things... they MUST be made for the OS... if the theme is for OS 5.0, it wont work on anything lower... same goes for screen size... if the theme is made for 320*240 then it will not work on 480*360... make sense?
so first make sure that the theme is even compatible with your device...

If it's not showing in your Themes list, but is showing in your Application List, then chances are it's not compatible with your device.
Hi guys! Thanks for your help. I bought the theme from Magmic and my old BB was an 8310. Yes, it does show up the Applications on the 9700 but not on the themes list. So I guess it's not compatible. What a bummer... Also, what is BBSAK?
yes that would be the issue right there... the theme is not going to work for your device now... maybe try looking for an updated version of the theme (or check out my themes...
as for BBSAK, that stands for BlackBerry Swizz Army Knife. its a program for your computer that lets you gain access to the device in a way that i wouldnt recommend if you dont know what you are doing
