Anyone know if it's possible to get this theme (that comes with the Curve) on the BB 9700? My 9700 only comes with one theme.

Do you want just an L Theme, or specifically one with the Dimension icons and not the current Precision Theme icons?

Anyway, there several L themes out there. I've only seen a few Dimension-style themes.

Just go to the 9630 and 8900 Themes Forums and search Dimension.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I love the new icons, but was just looking to have icons on the left and bottom, as opposed to just the bottom.

There is also one I have for my 8900 that has been ported to the 9700. Its in the 8900 forum and I think its called Hypareon Slick (sp). It has icons across the bottom and then 4 or 5 mini icons on the left side.

That's just how it works... Was developed back in Feb, I believe, when Theme Builder was quite limited.

Yes they do work.. I haven't seen any issues with "settings or anything".



@knowledge_6 : awesome - no issues seen at all (9700 & 8900)! Many thanks for "knocking" this up...

Edit : Perhaps, a version also with weather icon on home screen would prove to be popular... Although, space maybe an issue.

Yes they are supposed to work, plus I believe 8900 and 9630 can run each other's Themes if running OS 5.0 too. So basically, any device with OS 5.0 and a 480x360 display can run any Theme with a 480x360 resolution.

I'm just repeating what I've read. I do NOT run 5.0, so please forgive me if this incorrect.

EDIT: I'm sure it's obvious, but the Storm with its 360x480 display will only run Storm-specific Themes.

Were you able to download it? It should be there as you go Options> Themes. Or else try Options> Applications.

options > application i can see it but i can only remove the file

Why don't you try the one in Post #4. Follow the link and there's an OTA.

I've noticed that many L-themes have different navigation.
Do yourself a favour and scroll through each of the 8900, 9630, and 9700 Themes forums and you'll find others, most with OTA links.

It worked fine for me.

The 9700 has an option from the main App Screen (i.e. from the Home Screen press MENU and you see all the icons) to change the Theme.

This is new to OS 5.

While in the App Screen, click MENU again, select Options, scroll down to Set Theme, and click on the Theme Options button there.

If you're using the stock Precision Zen, there's an option for Today version there too! (But no stock L version.)
