Has anyone else come across themes in the crackberry app store that don't state what OS they are for? My sister purchased two themes yesterday not realizing they were for OS 6 only (she has OS 5). Fortunately I noticed the mistake before she activated the themes and totally screwed up her phone. (She isn't technically inclined and I live three hours away. It would have been a huge nightmare.) She was refunded her money for at least one of the themes. At first I thought maybe she wasn't paying attention when she purchased the themes, but tonight when I was looking through themes in the store I found several I knew from the forums were OS 6 but no where in the details or on the page did it say that. I even added one to my cart and still no mention of the OS. Will this always be the case from now on? I just find it extremely frustrating that something as simple as labeling the OS isn't being done.

I think if you tried to install a theme not made for your OS it wouldn't work. I dont think it would even show up in the Themes list?

As for the CB store, if you check the device compatibility, it should say whether the theme is compatible with your device?

I've just done this, mistakenly bought an OS5 version of a HedoneDesign theme for my OS6 9700. Luckily they've agreed to refund my mistake, its strange though as I bought it through the CB store and don't remember even being offered a choice of which version to download.

    Thanks for highlighting this issue.

I have checked both the Crackberry store and Mobihand and they both seem to have a new "look" and with the new look they have forgotten to include the OS versions of the themes. I remember that before they updated their website there used to be a section where it said what OS versions were available. So I think it's up to the website to put up that info not the developers.
