Yesterday I have noticed that I am not able to download any file bigger than 5.x MB.
    This is really irritating,
Is there fix available for this, I mean tweak...

    And most important...
Will this limitation be carried in OS6.
    I am using 9700

I think this is a limitation of BIS. Try downloading through Opera or an FTP client and you don't have any limits.

That's weird because last night I literally downloaded around 4 songs each with range 4-9MB. Oh, and a video too at 16MB. It was super fast and uber amazing.

Download ANY file size via BlackBerry Browser

Yes it works.. This method has worked for me since my 9000. When you update your OS you need to redo this. Its currently working on my 9700. Only thing is I've never received a note that it says when I first download. The NET browser works exactly the same as the normal BlackBerry browser.

Yeah, it seems to be an email issue. Any attachments > 2.9 mb (I think it is) cannot be downloaded.

i tried the fix and did get the new browser, the only thing i had to do was resend the service books, so i would try that before wiping the device.

ok, i just noticed that my mms was messed up, what i did was delete all my service books and then register with the network and resent my service books, now mms is working again and it is just like before, so try that b4 wiping the whole device

I did try resending the SBs. It failed even after a device reset. Now that I am back up after a wipe, I regained 2MB of app memory. It is as simple as doing a wipe, loads os, restore from dm backup for all my settings the an app install to get all my 3rd party apps installed in one shot (proc over in the how to section written by Cx).
