I followed along the videos and wiped the 9700 all the way to the 507 screen. Using BBSAK, I clicked the "Load OS" and selected mine (5.0.0.714). The wizard opened and upon hitting next, it says "Selected device is currently supporting an active dial-up networking session" To continue, close the dial-up session and press retry. ???? I have nothing else going and don't understand why this happened.

I still have the BB plugged into the USB and don't know what to do now. I could not find a thread for this or how to post elsewhere. Thank you!

Install the OS that you wish to install on your phone.

Then navigate to: Computer >>> C: >>> Program Files >>> Common Files >>> Research in Motion >>> Apploader

    Delete the file named vendor.xml

    Run loader.exe from that folder.

    Good luck
