I Have the Blackberry Bold 9650 on the Sprint Network. I downloaded the themes from blackberrythemes.net and it is considered for the 9600 tour or the 9700 Bold 2. I tried to install the Droid Slide Tour 5.0 and the Droid Slide 9700 5.0 Zen and couldn't figure out either of them. inside the folder there is a Jad file that is 2kb and 5 cod files both 8kb. How do i install it i tried doing what i read online and i get and error when trying to install. 907 invalid cod
you did dowload the theme from the browser on your phone? right? if not you def need to do that first lol. then it should be as simple as just applying the theme in the options menu. options->themes->pick your theme

Acutally, I think if you are downloading a theme you get a window asking of you would like to make the theme you are downloading active.
It's better to download directly using your phone's browser and as BoDeb said you will get a window ( after downloading and installing ) asking if you would like to make the theme you have installed active
since you've downloaded it before using your PC, you can open the zip file from there and see the ota link and then write it in your Berry's Browser to download it directly

XX do this make sure your browser emulation is set to blackberry open browser bb menu button options browser configuration browser ID blackberry make sure it set to that. Then hit the link for your theme.
that is what mine is on. what link should i use, when on the website the theme is from it loads the whole thing and when i hit download it downloads the .zip, when opening it on the computer it is the same file
This small guide explains you how to install OTA files which were downloaded to your computer
First of all you need to make sure you extract all files to a folder in case the files would be in ZIP format.
Then you can just copy the whole folder to the device memory or to a media card.
Now you can use the blackberry to activate the OTA files on your device.
Open the Media application on the blackberry
Press the left button next to the trackball
Click explore
Track down to Device Memory
Press the left button next to the trackball
Click Open
Track down to your /Games Folder
Press the right button next to the trackball
Click Open
Select the JAD file
Select "Download"
The Application will load on to your Blackberry and is now available in your application menu.
Ok people, If it is a cod and alx file combo, it is meant to be installed by DM.
It was zipped so you need to unzip it to a folder on your PC and then plug your phone into the PC. Open DM, open App Loader and find the alx file. It will add the theme.
