sorry to see you get crappy reception where you live. EDGE and only 2 bars? ughh that stinks bad. reminds me of how bad my 8310 was. I get full 3G in my apt when I only got low EDGE on my 8310.

Actually I get excellent reception but I like to hang out in the basement, as that's where the 52" plasma is And for some reason, our basement is a friggin fortress. Phone calls are a little iffy down here in the dungeon but texts and data come through alright. Upstairs and anywhere else I typically get full EDGE or 3-full bars of 3G.

Yeah, it's a little busy, but it's max info, readable and allows some room for an image based on....mood. Rest assured this screen gets a work out while in media mode. L-10 theme.

at home it's most times EDGE, sometimes 3g, always wifi; 3G everywhere else

That is the 'capture it' shortcut that allows you to take a picture of your current screen and post it; a screen shot. I believe at the start of this thread there are directions how to download it onto your phone.

those are different themes, other than the two that come with the phone. check out the themes section of crackberry

I was charging because I used the USB cable to take a screen shot. I wasn't drained... yet.

how do you get your appointments to show on the homescreen?

i only have an icon that i have to click on to go into the app that shows my appointments.

you need a today plus or today theme that has the calendar set to show on the top page. it all varies by theme. or - you could build your own!
