    I need help backing up my bold. I am running Asian .282. iIcan not back up my bold i keep getting an error. It stops at different spots after i close the desktop manager i have cleared the browser cache and all that stuff can someone please help me.I am using desktop manager 4.7

    Try using 4.6. As any search on here would give you, 4.7 has been known to cause some problems with the Bold.

    i haven't had issues with 4.6, 4.7, or 5.0 so not too sure. give 4.6 a go though

    What error message(s) are you getting?

    Try clearing the browser cache and event log. Also, delete some emails with huge attachments, if you have any...

    Did you clear the browser cache via the DM rather than on the device?

    I find it works better when done via the advanced option of back up and restore. Simply highlight the browser cache and select 'clear'

    i had an error backing up databases on DM 4.6 a while back and after painstakingly backing up individual databases, I discovered it was Twitterberry. Trying to back that DB up would fail, so I uninstalled the app and backups worked fine.

    Ditto. Clearing the cache on the device doesn't work for me. I have to do it each time via DM
