When I listen to music I lose about 10 % every hour, maybe even more. When I browse the web via WiFi, my battery nosedives and I lose about 5% every 10-15 minutes, is this normal?
So, starting at 10 AM ( I was at a funeral and the phone was off until 12 :30), I was on EDGE, I had in 204 texts, and the same amount out, I had about 5-10 minutes of wifi browsing, and at 11 PM, I ended up with 60% battery life. I am running .247..

204 text messages might have done it, especially if that is 204 in and 204 out

Today's day actually sounds about right to me. That's about what mine would get too with that many messages going in and out. I've never claimed my phone got good battery life. I'm running 282 and used 266 and 167.

I wonder how much time it would take me to read and write 400 sms and then have the energy to complain about battery life. Are you for real?!

Let's just say, 12 hour ride from ride from Williamsburg, VA, up to Hartford, CT with just your Bold and your iPod..... You find someone to talk to. It was just 204 out, and about 204 in. I have had a day where I have had 500 texts out though :/

I think that too many factors play into this to be able to give you an accurate answer.

For instance if you and I do the same activities but your backlight is set at 100% and mine 10% , I would get better battery life.

Or If you have unnecessary apps running in the background.

But in general, it sounds like you're getting pretty normal battery life.
