I find when I soft reset or hard rest my bold takes forever to boot back up. Probably 6 minutes. Anyone else having this problem?

That is about what mine takes. It is about 4-5 mins for the home screen to appear but another minute or 2 to be able to do anything with the phone. Calling tech support with any issues that require restarts turns into a long call.

I'm around 3-4 min. Was pulling almost 10, but a re-install solved that

I've had variable boot times, sometimes upwards of the 5-6 minute mark. If it annoys me too much, I will usually wipe the device and start over. I noticed it is much worse when automatic memory cleaning is enabled (and is something that is apparently mandatory when using WorldMate for some reason).

I haven't ever timed it, but I do know it takes a while. I would think around 4 mins as well.

5 min is the norm for me since November. I just reset and don't think about it. If you stare at your Bold, it takes forever, maybe 10 min lol.

I've found that the majority of the boot up time for me has to do with my memory card. I have an 8 gig card, and it's fairly full, and I remember it being quite inexpensive so I'm fairly certain it's not a very high speed card either. I'm sure that if it were a high speed card that would improve speeds, but still, everytime I boot up, if I check Media, it sits there scanning for about 10 minutes and while it scans, the entire device is slow like a mule. Once it's done, though, fast as a whip. Just thought I'd share my experiences, and perhaps find out if there's any way of speeding up the scanning process at all.

I had the original os on my bold. Atnt .167. Boot up time was around 5 minutes. Now I have vodafone .282 and it takes 2 minutes or less.

It seem the .282 is the better OS for the moment!
