Another request to be added... multiple windows. For example, I just tried to create a calendar event based on information I received from a BBM contact. I forgot the time that was mentioned, but I couldn't check the BBM message without closing the calendar portion. It would be great to be able to open separate windows for individual emails/BBMs/apps.

Blend is already a highly productive tool for every purpose!

But it's not at all smooth running on my ipad! It crashes a lot and it slow in general! It needs a fix!

Other features: remember and whatsapp integration!

I came here to basically write this exact comment. Opening up a blend API to third party devs would be huge, and could replace the desktop entirely down the road. Especially if BB can figure out a way to run Blend directly from the phone, ie: plug the phone into an hdmi port and the Blend interface is shown on screen. A person could then use a bluetooth mouse and board and BAM, no need for desktop computers in the enterprise. Even better would be a dock, that both charges the phone and links the screen.

Wow!! I love that idea!!! They have a dock currently for sale for both the classic and the passport. I wonder if it had an HDMI port on the back as well?... can anyone verify that?...

one thing that I need on BB Blend, is the possibility to manage and merge contacts.

For manage, i'm really surprised that we cannot change name, adding phone number or something on contacts, and possibility to merge contacts from different contact lists can be a +. For ex, l have some contacts on Linkedin and want to merge with phone contact lists and... is not possible on Blend, only on the mobile.

    - Replace the need for Link, Protect.
    - Enable auto backup to computer.
    - Enable drag and drop from computer
    - Disable notification on phone
    - change UI to widget kind rather than a full window and make it similar to home/lock screen
    - enable email signature
    - make it bug free
    - enable calls and bbm voice
    - enable reply from notification

I don't see that happening. Blackberry prides itself in security. I don't see them telling others how to pull emails from a Blackberry.

A lot of what everyone has posted would be great additions to Blend. However, I still believe the major shortfall with this tool is that it must be downloaded and installed on every PC that you want to use it on. Many times this is not possible due to a lack of admin rights, like at work, a library, a copy center, etc.

If they could make Blend completely accessible through a web portal, that would be INCREDIBLE.
Well, it appears I'm prophetic, unfortunately not about Blend or BBM, but about WhatsApp. I truly hope this is the direction BlackBerry is eventually going. Installing software is cumbersome and unnecessary in today's age of web/cloud based apps.

Yes, and blend should be one program not 2. The cool think about bbm is that chat, voice and video is in one app where ios for example has imessage and face time as separate apps.

Programs need to be combine to reduce redundantcies.

Off topic but facebook, twitter, linked in, channels should all be one app and fully integrated instead fragmented.

    Improved calendar (settings and editing).
Improved mail view (conversation view! Hide sent/archived. Search).
Yes!, we really need an option to view messages by conversation in Blend. In fact the view setting should match what is configured on the phone (conversation view on/off). I am using Blend v1.1.0.65 on the Passport, v1.1.0.16 on a Macbook Pro, and v1.1.0.17 on Windows7 and do not see the option for conversation view unless I am completely missing it.

I seem to have my BlackBerry Passport docked in the syn doc a lot and I use a Bluetooth headset. With that what I would really like is the ability to pull up a contact in Blend and make a phone call through my Passport to my headset... voila now BlackBerry is really a Hub.

Actually the one thing from Bridge I would love to see (but doubt it's possible) is the Presenter option. Running a PowerPoint presentation from your phone always was a great Bridge feature.

Main features I would love to see in blend would be:

-just like many have said, full remember functionality.
I've seen people taking notes on their phones during meetings and it just looks silly. Sometime they're actually texting lol

-initiate phone calls through blend would be awesome.
Starting a call by phone or bbm through the sms and bbm section in blend similar to start a call through bbm voice.

-bridgelike functionality. Mainly just the remote control.
My phone sits next to my computer where my mouse would be. A lot like surfing my playbook though hdmi with my 9900.

-push maps routes or directions to device would be nice.
Then when your ready all you have press is Go then off you go. Would make the transition from pc directions to device simpler.

Focus on productivity/business features before consumer ones.

Sent with the help of my beautiful Z30
Loving the idea of push maps. That would be awesome.

Not sure what you mean here, what I'm saying is possible without compromising security. I mean open up blend the same way third party devs have the ability to add hub integration (which I believe has to be approved by BB). All you're doing essentially is pushing the app data from the phone to blend. I can almost guarantee this is coming down the pipeline. I'm betting BB will allow a company like Whatsapp, who build great native applications, to beta test this. Imagine the possibilities if apps like Igrann, Whine, etc could all expand into blend with some freedom to choose their blend UI. If one could get every app to interface with blend, it would truly do away with the need for a desktop. If all the specialist apps used in the enterprise had a blend interface why would you need a desktop? Especially now that everything is become decentralized and cloud based, all desktops are really becoming is fancy viewers for data stored on a server. Remember this post in a few years.

Also, I would love the ability to send links to blend to open on my computer. Something like clicking "Share to Blend" and having the hyperlink and page title sent to an "inbox" on blend where I can then click and open thru a browser. Would be great for collecting links throughout the day and then view when I got home from work.

I would like to see the option to use the BlackBerry Internet browser.

For example I am roaming international and cannot tether or use hotspot. If blend would allow me to open a browser and surf the net through my BlackBerry it would eliminate this issue and I would also feel safer with the Internet connection running to the states rather than pulling an IP from a country I am roaming in.

    Spell check
3rd party app support along with all native apps

    1) I'd like to see the ability of all hub applications and notification be accessible in Blackberry Blend (e.g. Facebook, Whatsapp, Wechat, etc).

    2) I'd like to be able to have the Blackberry screen displayed and controlled remotely by a desktop computer. (remote control)
