Hi everyone. I'm trying to connect my personal Blackberry to my work computer and am getting the above error. All of of the options in device connections are on (Allow connections and use mobile network). Any ideas?

The way I understand IPV6 is that it has something to do with the way your computer receives the internet from your ISP. Your ISP may not have the IPV6 capability. Maybe the link below can provide better assistance to you; it's where I started when I wondered what IPV6 was! Good luck! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6

Had the exact same problem this morning. Fiddled around and found the following link that may solve your problems. Even though Network properties showed that IPV6 was enabled, I still had to click on the "Re-enable IPv6" link. It installed, I rebooted computer and after that it's working like a charm.

    Dude thanks for this!

Two issues I had. Installed Blend but didn't reboot after install before trying to connect to the BB. Reboot then worked....but gave me this error. Your link to fix worked. Also on a work computer. No issue on my home PC and MBP. Will try the iPad Blend app tomorrow.

For me, my companies company's IT policy has IPv6 disabled by both registry and blocked by anti-virus. To enable, I must.... Open RegEdit.exe, then go to HKey_Local_Machine > System > ControlSet001 > Services > TCPIP6 > Parameters > DisabledComponents. Change value (decimal value) of 255 to 0. Then, I must disable anti-virus protection. All works fine... that is until these changes are reset by IT policies. Blend functions with these changes, albeit only for 30 minutes.
