    hello

    i’m quite new here.
iphone user for 9 years now, but i’m thinking about buying a key2.
it is the wish for something special.

    so, i need some help.

maybe i’m a little paranoid, but i don’t like to get spied, and tracked.
how about the privacy of bb and android vs privacy of apple?
is it possible to disable all the background google services?

thanks for your experiences and suggestions.

    Hello,

Out of the box, an iPhone has less tracking going on than any Android.

However, once 3rd party applications are installed, both devices are affected the same way.

On BB Android, it is indeed possible to disable all background Google Services. A number of BB users do this (myself included). Here is a thread which explains what you can expect from your device by doing so.

Bear in mind, that disabling Google will only bring the privacy level up to that of an out-of-the-box iPhone.

But as I alluded to above, the applications you install still contact trackers.

To stop this, you need to use a Firewall application like Netgaurd www.netguard.me

Here is a thread discussing how to combine Netguard with Tor so all connections on your device will be anonymous.

This is something you can't do on an iPhone.

So to summerize, with Google disabled, a firewall installed with Tor, in combination with BB device security, you will have the most secure device on the market combined with one that does it's best to create privacy.
