I bought my US KEYone, and love it so far. My only issue is with T-Mobile's regular 4G network, which doesn't allow me to use data at all. It displays 4G, but it's greyed out.

I only see it grayed out when I'm on WiFi. Test with WiFi radio turned off ? (in case your WiFi does'nt work right)

yeah, the grayed-out only means that it's not using data at the moment. turn off wifi, go hit some websites. you should get data. I made zero changes to the APN. VoLTE and Wifi Calling work great. My only issue is that VoLTE doesn't work over my LTE CellSpot (minitower)...but it works everywhere else.

Didn't work. Just got the no Internet page on chrome with the dinosaur minigame.

rut roh. if you go to settings > more > cellular networks > access point names, you should see two entries: T-Mobile GPRS/fast.t-mobile.com, and T-Mobile MMS/tmus. Do you see something different?

Ok that's good news. Now go back up a level and look at preferred network type. just for kicks, change it to 4G&3G&2G. See if you get data.

I got some of the backend to stop working doing that, but after changing it to LTE, 4G, and 3G it reconnected to 4G LTE and data returned. I'm just going to run the autoloader and see if that helps.
