Coming from the Classic which has a stock music player that I always used...was wondering if Android has one? More specifically will the KEYONE have one? Albeit it will be running Nougat, not wutever the Priv runs. Don't kno if that matters...

    Classic, Q10, Bold 9900, Bold 9000...do u notice the pattern? :-)

Google Play Music is default and it's not half bad.

But there are dozens of great ones to choose from in Play Store

Thanks for the reply. I'm simple when it comes to music apps. As long as it has playlists and a equalizer that I would rarely use I'm set, lol.

You're gonna want to find an alternative. Stock app is kinda messy. I'm not a fan.

It's also not half good. It, like the stock one in BB10, doesn't sort my music well, without the need to do a lot of editing to the tags. Neutron sorts them perfectly, as I am sure many others do.

It all depends on what features one values in a music player. I keep all my music in the cloud except for the 3-5 albums I'm actively listening to, which I download to my local SD card. For me, the only thing I need to do is select an album and press play so that the songs play in order and then stop, the same as they would on a DC player or LP.

So long as I can play FLAC files in this manner, I couldn't care less about the player. I always prefer stock over a third party app unless there are specific features that I actually need.

Anyone found a music app that has a feature that when you are playing a song you can share "what I'm listening to" ( like in bbm) but to other social media (twitter, fb, etc). But just text ... not sharing the actual file.

Same thing. Go to share, now playing info, select Facebook or Fenix (twitter) and all it shows it the cover image. No text, no hashtags

Yes, i noticed that if you try to share info via 3rd party twitter app (in my case flamingo) it only shows album art without any info.

And what about official FB as that's not 3rd party (for FB anyways)

You can get the stock Android music player by downloading the F-Droid app store (it's an open source repository of android apps). Open F-Droid and search for "music". You'll find an app called Music. As the description says, it's the stock Android audio player. However, if you want a graphically nicer version, look for the Apollo Music Player, which was the stock player from Cyanogenmod. It's also in F-Droid. BTW, the file manager from Cyanogenmod (also in F-Droid) seems as close to the BB10 file manager as you can get. It's called "File Manager." How gauche.
