Hello I am a Passport user and am doing all my research to prepare for an eventual move to Android. One of the most loved features on BB10 for me is StereoTube. It let's me listen to and download all the YouTube videos or music I choose. Is there an equivalent app that provides one the ability to do the sam on Android. I have seen some add filled app that have a narrow library but they did not compare to the full access StereoTube offers to all the media on YouTube.
    All suggestions are appreciated.

Newpipe allows you to DL youtube vids for offline playback. If you just want a general web video DL app then try Videoder. Both can be found at APKMirror.

That is good to know and may come in handy but I am looking for a tool that will rip music so that I can have it as my own and free to do or transfer to any device I so choose or share.

you can DL as mp3 as well as video in various resolutions in Videoder.

Edit: Newpipe also gives you the option to DL as video or mp3 in youtube.

That's awesome Thank you. I will check it out tonight and see.

    UPDATE :
Thanks guys, yes Videoder was the winner of the two with more audio format options and album art editing capabilities. This will work perfectly and thanks again

So not too long after this post I discovered that StereoTube does no longer work properly. Says that certain providers have blocked their content to StereoTube. I'm not too sure if the two are related or linked but it does seem odd.

Funny thing is even though I can't listen to the song through the app I can still download it ha ha.

    Anyone know anything about it?
Tried contacting the Dev but they are long gone.
