    As I usually have my display brightness at very low level indoor to save battery, but then sometimes have problems to set it to highest brightness if I go outside into the bright sun as I can't see the slider in notification dropped anymore.

    Is there a way to set PKB shortcuts to have full brightness e.g on "O" and "I" for minimum brightness?

    In most Android and Windows phones there is Auto Brightness Control Feature.

    Unfortunately this feature is not available in BlackBerry 10 OS

    Yeah but this collides with battery saving in low light situations, as it is most of the time too bright.
