Try getting on the latest Sugar, apparently they're deprecating older versions. The link in the first post points to 11.6.9 at this time, which should work in the absence of any server issues.

Not officially, because TCL is great at this long-term support thing.

If one connects a DTEK50 to Sugar it would download and install ABB046, which is the final DTEK50 update as far as I can tell, so that would work. However, the OS available for a DTEK60 on Sugar is AAW609, which is older than the final DTEK60 update (ABB090) and would cause a brick.

If the phone ends up bricked or otherwise requiring a reload, one would have to contact clown college BlackBerry's support line and hope that your device ends up shipped in, fixed, and shipped back.

As you may know, the official TCL OS reload tool has been "Coming soon" for almost a year now, and the only alternative way to debrick your phone is sending the device in for repair. However, after some scouring of the series of tubes, here is another method: Sugar.

Sugar is an Alcatel OS flash tool, similar to the previous KEYone Mobile Upgrade tool, except it works with any TCL Android device. Privs have to use old-fashioned autoloaders.

First things first, install Sugar QCT (for Qualcomm devices, since TCL also ships Mediatek devices) to your Windows PC:

FOR DTEK50/DTEK60 OWNERS, if you want to run Sugar, make sure that the latest OS available for your device is newer or the same as what is already installed. If you end up flashing an older version then you have a very high chance of bricking your phone and requiring a phone call to TCL support. To check what's the latest OS for your PRD, either consult the unofficial web database, or with your phone recognized in Sugar, click "Get Version". Thurask, how do I use autoloader for Key2 if I want to revert back to original build, as it was the only one where wifi calling worked? Since upgrades, blackberry got rid of wifi calling on unlocked devices. I've never done this before

I bricked my Key2 because of forgeting screen lock - the only way to fix is installing Sugar. (no Autoloader for KEY2 BBF100-4) Everything is perfect from the moment where we enter user name and pass for Sugar. It is not working anymore. I'm extremely sad for this - any way to find new pass? Or any alternative to try? @thurask might probably find a work around.

TCL's implementation of downgrade prevention is horribly inconsistent, and you might have encountered that. To resuscitate your device loading something equal to or newer than what was on it before downgrading should do the trick. As it stands, Sugar is dead, since the credentials appear to be revoked. For this to work again, new credentials would have to be found (unlikely), or TCL would have to get their software support act together to obviate the need for Sugar (even less likely).

installed an app from the store and it restarted. Now it is in Infinite bootloop, no way to enter recovery to factory reset, no way to reload the factory image. No tools for flashing nor the firmware. The only way to fix the device is to send it back to blackberry. What an enjoyable experience. Laughable at the kindest mentioning.

Tried to Reboot in Fastboot but no chance and again back to Bootloader menu.

Please help.

That's the problem, as detailed earlier in this thread - the public credentials no longer work.

Apart from attempting other autoloaders, your only recourse is to return your device for repair.

Instructions with UPDATED Login Credentials are HERE - I can confirm as of Jan 2021 they 100% work

It took me quite a bit of time to hunt down this software and working login as my phone is totally wrecked without it and im sure im not the only one who badly needs this info or may in the future!
