I just realised that Androids own potato emoji isn't working on my Priv (July 17 update). The prediction as well as the written emoji in standard android apps shows an 🥔 crossed rectangle as if the letter in the type is missing.



As you can see in the screenshot the sweet-potato works, but that is irrelevant in germany (just to put a bit more self irony in it). And it also doesn't help to use the german word Kartoffel

Btw if i use the prediction in whatsapp and flick up, it apears correctly in the standard "ios" emoji style (so it seems the Android font is broken).

Anyone else with this show stopping Priv prob?

Oh no carrot and green salad is the same, I guess I'm doomed and have to eat only 🍖 and 🌭 now.

Oh well I guess the zombie apocalypse is postponed, the missing emojis were never there on android 6 as they came new on N (https://emojipedia.org/google/android-7.0/new/).

So now is the question to @LiamQ and @Colin Ho why are those N only emojis predicted in newer versions of BlackBerry keyboard on Android 6 phones, and blocking the prediction area with a useless rectangle?

And there a many more common words affected: sneeze, nauseated, drooling, rofl, cowboy, lying, clown, owl, fox, gorilla, deer, drums, clinking, scooter, peanut...

And their pendants in other languages as well.

Oh well could be moved to Hub+ suite section now...
