i've been experiencing duplicate text messages on my keyone, using verizon messaging plus. i have the stock messaging app disabled but the problem persists. i've played around as much as i could with settings to no avail. anyone else experience this and successfully fixed it?

Can you give you some more details? are you in a group text, are you messaging to another android or to an iPhone or Windows phone? is it ever conversation or only certain conversation in which you receive duplicate texts?

it's usually in a single text, with an iphone user. there may have been a time when it first started that it was in a group text, and that it also showed duplicates of what i sent (on my screen only). when i bring up info on the duplicate texts, some of the info is different between the two. (the UID number).

it happens at times, very rarely rarely though. the issue is with the operator in my case Vodafone. nothing to do with phone. ignoring is one way out.
