I remember when the priv first came out and I was trying it out at Telus. One of the cool things I noticed was the notification sparks on the lock screen as well as the notification shade. My Dtek50 had notifications but not the app icons with the spark. Was this feature removed in Android 6 for PRIV, or can I somehow get it on my Dtek50?

From the looks of it - the dtek50 never had the sparks.

Watch any review video and even the official dtek50 tutorials by BlackBerry and you'll see the sparks are not present at all.

I liked those icons too since you could filter with them!

LOL sorry about that, but yes, I agree those icons kind of remind me of BB10's lock screen notifications in a way

I have the sparks on my lock screen on dtek50. This however is when I am using The blackberry phone case with the window viewer. If I open the case then I can't see it and if not connected via my Bluetooth devices have to unlock the phone
